Faith Christian Centre Church International,
Kampala, is centrally situated in the poorest and most needy
area and vicinity of the Capital City of Uganda and the whole
of Uganda in order to effectively bring God’s hope, life, help,
a positive up-lift, blessings and salvation to the desperate
multitudes of God’s people.
Strategically located on the Upper Mwanga II Road, many people
and mostly the needy and destitute people call Faith Christian
Centre their “Home” and a haven of blessings,
as it truly acts as a great Beacon of Hope and a
Lighthouse to the many hundreds of orphaned children, women,
the elderly people and other vulnerable groups of people in
this lowly, needy communities of the inner city, ghetto area
of Kampala City. The Lord Jesus Christ will make a great positive
difference in this part of the world! We have seen many lives
changed. In our Church we have many people who were Muslims
now saved and totally changed by the power of God, including
one of my Assistant Pastor – Rev Shadrach Kivumbi! Indeed to
us in the Ministry, as the Luganda saying goes, “Omusajja
Yesu yaaffusse Ensonga!”- Literally meaning that
“The Man Jesus has become
the main central Issue and Force to reckon with”!
At this point in time, Faith Christian Centre is pastored
by Rev. Dr. Grace and Mrs. Florence
L. Kityo who are also the Visionaries, Founders and
Senior/Head Pastors.
The Assistant Pastors and head of
various facets of Ministries and responsibilities are: Pastor Shadrach
Kivumbi, Pastor Celestine Kubuya and Pastor
Happy Juliet.
It is a very warm, vibrant, caring and loving ministry to
all God’s people in the area and community.
The Church has a very unique, aggressive, motivated, powerful
and highly talented YOUTH MINISTRY which
has many varied activities, including preaching the Gospel
in the Universities, schools, Creative Dances, Christian Film
Shows and Plays, Pageants, Youth Band and a highly acclaimed CHILDREN’S
CHOIR-“*THE FAITH ANGELS*”!
Pastor / Mrs. Florence L Kityo, for many
years has and still is the Leader of Worship, Church Choir
and Children’s Choir as well being the right hand supporter of
her husband Dr. Grace D.L. Kityo.
Miss Miriam Mirembe heads Prayer and Intercessory Ministry,
as well as the women’s ministry – a powerful ministry upholding
tool for the Pastor, Leaders and whole ministry.
Miss Agnes Nakayiza is in charge of Children’s
Programs, Christian Pen-Pals world-wide, and Leader of Praise
in the Church and Ministry. She is also a mighty woman of prayer.
Brother Kenneth Prince Kasirye with Brother William
Muyanja is the Chief Church Organist,
Trainer of Music Instruments, and the in Charge of all Church
Public Address System and Church “machines”. Willy is also
a Church photographer. Kenneth is the son
of Rev. and Mrs. Kityo.
Brother Vincent Bagadda and Brother
William Kajura are the Elders and
Deacons Leaders in the Church.
We also have Brother Emmanuel, Brother Godfrey and
Brother Senyimba are the Ushers’ Leaders.
Brother Joshua Batanyaga in the Church helps
the Church in small-time building needs and repairs and security
Miss Rose Naggayi is our Church Janitor,
Helper and Cleaner.
Sister Lynette Najjuka and Norah assist
Mrs. Kityo in teaching the Sunday School Children, Training
them in the Choir, children’s Plays and Creative Dance, etc.
Lynette is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Kityo.
Our NEW Ministry slogan and catchword is: “Faith
Christian Centre ~We are here for YOU...A Church With a
Difference!”
